Hello, and welcome!

I'm John, an Assistant Professor of Instruction in the School of Education and Social Policy at Northwestern University, working closely with the Dual Master's Degree in Applied Economics and Social and Economic Policy. 

When I am not teaching econ, I primarily study macroeconomics and public finance. My interests lie in tax and transfer systems, and how they may impact economic opportunity, the business cycle, and growth.
